Who is DJ Homann? First and foremost, I am a Christian, and I make no apologies for it. Even though I struggle with my spiritual walk at times, I am still a child of God. I am also a husband and father and am working on being better at both.
I live in a small town in Central Illinois near where I have grown up. I have spent most of my life in Central Illinois among the corn and bean fields. I have been blessed with a great family, an amazing upbringing, and a wonderful church. Despite all the blessings in my life, I have struggled in my finances, relationships, and spiritual life. This struggle is the result of my own choices and is the basis of this blog.
I have never been writer and never foresaw myself writing about my own life for anyone on the internet to read. But I felt that God was asking me to share my life and my struggles with others. Here I hope people can find inspiration and support for their own struggles. Or maybe they can simply learn some mistakes to avoid.
I like the outdoors and video games, two very contradictory hobbies. However, my passion lies in fishing and specifically in tournament bass fishing. I could (and frequently do) spend all day with a rod in my hands. Outdoors I enjoy walking through the local parks and walking our dog.
